The Shawnee County Christmas Bureau is an annual tradition that allows everyone in our community to make the holiday season brighter for our Shawnee County neighbors in need. United Way of Kaw Valley and other community partners connect thousands of individuals and families to a holiday meal and gifts by matching them with agencies or community “adopters.”

West Side Baptist Church partners with local community service agency – Doorstep, Inc. – to help our neighbors and community with basic needs like food, water, baby supplies, children’s clothes, addiction recovery, emotional support, utility assistance, and more in the Capital City and area!

We are collecting children’s warm clothes, like:
SOCKS, STOCKING CAPS, AND GLOVES for our neighbors and kids at Lowman Hill Elementary and Meadows Elementary (Topeka Public Schools 501).
