Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway 2024

CHURCH PURCHASES AND GIVES AWAY 88 TURKEYS and 132 CHICKENS TO SHAWNEE COUNTY FAMILIES and the HOMELESS

This Thanksgiving, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our church’s donors, volunteers at the Free Fruit and Vegetable Food Pantry were able to brighten the holiday for many local families by distributing 88 turkeys and 132 frozen chickens. It is truly a blessing to be able to share in the spirit of giving and help our neighbors during this special season of gratitude.

As we approach the holiday season, we are excited to announce that Holiday Food (and other items) will be available at the Free Fruit & Vegetable Food Pantry on December 18 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., while supplies last. In keeping with our commitment to serving the community, reservations, sign-ups, or requests are not needed—simply come by during the scheduled distribution hours. For more details, visit https://wsbctopeka.org/get-help/food-pantry.

Help us spread the holiday cheer! Donations are now being accepted to fund the distribution of Holiday Boxes. You can contribute easily online, or by mailing a check to:

West Side Baptist Church

Every donation helps ensure that more families can enjoy a festive and nutritious meal this season. Thank you for your continued support, and for being a vital part of this community of kindness and generosity. Together, we’re making a real difference!
