Start your Sunday with a warm welcome, good fellowship, and a chance to grow in your faith!
At 9:15 am each week, children, youth, and adults gather to learn about God’s Word, Christian living, and how to love and serve others in Jesus’ name. Classes run year-round, and a light breakfast is often served—free of charge.
Classes for Every Age:
CHILDREN (PreK – Elementary) – Our trained and caring teachers lead fun, interactive lessons that help kids discover the stories of the Bible, learn about God’s love, and grow in their faith. (See our Children’s Ministry page for more details.).
*Nursery care is lovingly provided for participants and their families.
YOUTH (Middle & High School) – Teens explore the Bible and discuss real-life questions of faith with a dedicated, caring leader. It’s a safe space to wrestle with big ideas and build strong friendships. Visit: https://wsbctopeka.org/youth.
ADULTS – Whether you’re brand-new to the faith or have been following Jesus for years, you’ll find a place to learn, ask questions, and grow. Classes cover topics like:
- The Bible and how to read it
- Christian beliefs and practices
- Building Christ-like character

- Living out your faith in daily life

New Sunday School Series —
“The Chosen” Episode 1-3 • 9:15 AM
We’re excited to launch a fresh, inspiring class this fall using The Chosen — Episode TBD by Class.
This acclaimed multi-season TV series brings the life of Jesus to vivid, personal life through the eyes of those who met Him. The Chosen unfolds in first-century Judea and Galilee, portraying Jesus not just as a historical figure but as a living, relatable Teacher who interacts with everyday people in heartfelt ways.
Each week, we’ll watch an episode together, then dive into the Scripture it brings to life. Expect thoughtful discussion, Bible reflection, and meaningful connections with fellow participants.
New Sunday School Class – “Judah: From Isaiah to Exile”
Begins Sunday, September 7 • 9:15 AM
This fall, join us for an in-depth Bible study using the Standard Lesson Commentary NIV – Fall 2025 edition. Our focus will be on the dramatic and spiritually rich period of Judah’s history, from the prophetic ministry of Isaiah to the time of exile.
We will discover and appreciate how God, through prophets and other leaders, gave help and guidance to the people of Judah. As we study the Major Prophets, we will see God’s hand at work in their lives, just as God is at work in our lives and all human affairs.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:
- BIBLE STUDY – Verse-by-Verse: Explore key passages from Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and other prophets who called God’s people to faithfulness.
- HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL INSIGHTS – Understand the political, social, and spiritual challenges Judah faced before the Babylonian exile.
- LIFE APPLICATION – Learn how God’s Word in the Old Testament speaks directly to our lives, communities, and world today.
- CARING FRIENDS – We will get to know one another and spend time praying for each other at the end of each class.
