SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL CINEMA begins June 7
Our first featured film is Amy Carmichael: Mother to the Motherless, a moving true story of missionary Amy Carmichael and her courageous work rescuing vulnerable young girls from exploitation and abuse. This film complements our May Christian Classics Book Club selection, A Chance to Die by Elisabeth Elliot.
The movie will be shown over two Sundays. Refreshments begin at 9:00 a.m., with the film starting promptly at 9:15 a.m., followed by group discussion. Coffee and juice will be provided, and volunteers are invited to sign up on the bulletin board to bring breakfast treats, serve, or help with clean-up. Come enjoy an inspiring film, tasty refreshments, and meaningful conversation with church friends.
Future movie selections through Labor Day will be announced in the Sunday News in the Pews
