We’ll enjoy sandwiches and chips for May’s meeting, so come hungry for food and friendship!
The Women’s Ministry will meet monthly on the FIRST THURSDAY, focusing on food, fellowship, and faith. These meetings are a time to relax, share our stories, learn each other’s likes and dislikes, and grow in love as sisters in Christ.
This September, we’ll begin a new seven-month journey exploring Jesus & Women: In the First Century and Now by Kristi McLelland. Together, we’ll share a meal, watch a video, talk about what we’ve learned, and consider how Jesus’ understanding of women speaks to who we are and how we live today.
🌿 Our First Fall Gathering- Thursday, September 3 • 5:30 PM • Holmer Hall
We’ll kick things off with an Israeli-inspired meal. I’ll be bringing Roasted Chicken Thighs with Grilled Eggplant and Mint. Come ready for good food, meaningful conversation, and a fresh look at Jesus and the women he encountered.

FALL 2026 DAY & TIME CHANGE: We’ve been asked to try meeting on the first Thursday of the month at 5:30 PM, so we’re going to give it a try for the next couple of months. I’d love to hear what you think! And if a daytime meeting option would work better for you, please let me know. Your input matters!
WOMEN’S MINISTRY SPECIAL PROJECTS
Special Project: Feminine Hygiene Products for Homeless & Neighborhood Blessing Boxes
The Women’s Ministry at West Side Baptist Church is collecting feminine hygiene products to support women and girls in need—both in our local homeless community and through our neighborhood Blessing Boxes.
Access to basic hygiene products is a dignity issue. Many women facing housing insecurity or financial hardship go without these essential items every month. Through this special project, we aim to provide care, comfort, and compassion—one package at a time.
You can help by donating pads, tampons, liners, and individually wrapped wipes. Items can be placed in the donation bin at the Church or given directly to a Women’s Ministry member.
