It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister, Nina Ruth Skidmore, 89, a beloved Christian sister and member of West Side Baptist Church in Topeka. She departed this earthly life for her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
She was a member of the North Topeka Baptist Church and later West Side Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Silver Haired Legislature, North Topeka Historical Society, NOTOMA, and a Papan’s Landing Board Member.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence. The family will greet friends following the service. Private family inurnment will be in Rochester Cemetery.
