We Celebrate Two Sacred “Ordinances” ordered by Jesus Christ:

THE LORD’S SUPPER or HOLY COMMUNION
celebrated on the first Sunday of each month and on special occasions.
We celebrate OPEN COMMUNION, which means we WELCOME, INCLUDE, and SERVE ALL PEOPLE of FAITH — who profess to be a believer in Jesus Christ (regardless of age, race, disability, gender, membership, denominational affiliation, or church tradition) to partake of the elements of Holy Communion at the Lord’s Table. SPECIAL OCCASIONS: Christmas Eve, Epiphany (January 6), Maundy Thursday of Holy Week, Easter Sunday, World Communion Sunday (first Sunday in October), and during Ordination services.
What the Bible Says about The Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion):
THE BIBLE SAYS: These holy appointments are to be administered by those only who are qualified and thereunto called, according to the commission of Christ.(Matt. 28:19; 1 Cor. 4:1) Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances of positive and sovereign institution, appointed by the Lord Jesus, the only lawgiver, to be continued in his church to the end of the world.(Matt. 28:19, 20; 1 Cor. 11;26)
THE BIBLE SAYS: The supper of the Lord Jesus was instituted by him the same night wherein he was betrayed, to be observed in his churches, unto the end of the world, for the perpetual remembrance, and shewing forth the sacrifice of himself in his death, confirmation of the faith of believers in all the benefits thereof, their spiritual nourishment, and growth in him, their further engagement in, and to all duties which they owe to him; and to be a bond and pledge of their communion with him, and with each other (1 Cor. 11:23-26; 1 Cor. 10:16, 17,21).
THE BIBLE SAYS: The Lord Jesus hath, in this ordinance, appointed his ministers to pray, and bless the elements of bread and wine, and thereby to set them apart from a common to a holy use, and to take and break the bread; to take the cup, and, they communicating also themselves, to give both to the communicants (1 Cor. 11:23-26, etc.). Since we believe in the Priesthood of All Believers (1 Peter 2:5-9) – that all baptized followers of Jesus are called, consecrated, and commissioned to serve as equal ministers in Jesus’ name – any baptized believer may officiate at the Table of the Lord (ordination is not required).
How We Observe the Lord’s Supper or Holy Communion:
Our Ordained Minister, Deacons, and Communion Servers will prepare the Table of the Lord. After the prayers and words of invitation and consecration, the Bread and then the Cups will be distributed to worshippers. We ask everyone to hold each element until everyone is served, then we will feast as one community.
- Gluten-Free Wafers are also available upon request.
- Non-Alcoholic Grape Juice: To stand in solidarity with those who may be struggling, we use non-alcoholic grape juice for communion.
- Home and Hospital Delivery is Available upon Request by Calling the Church Office.
All are welcome. Come as you are.

If you have any questions, concerns, or special needs, please don’t hesitate to contact the Church Office to speak with the Minister or schedule an appointment.
