2025 Church Stewardship Campaign

FAITHFUL STEWARDS OF GOD’S GRACE:
SHARING OUR TIME, TALENTS, and TREASURES with the LORD

THEME VERSE:
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,
as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms” – 1 Peter 4:10

THANKSGIVING IS A SEASON FOR GRATITUDE & GIVING:
Welcome to Our 2025 Stewardship Campaign

Thanksgiving is a Season of Gratitude and Giving! Each November, our members and friends gives thanks for the many ways God continues to bless and guide West Side Baptist Church. This year’s stewardship theme, Faithful Stewards of God’s Grace, invites each of us to recognize three biblical truths:

  1. God Owns Everything: – The Bible says, “The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it” – Psalm 24:1.
  2. God is Rich and Generous: The Bible says, “And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others” – 2 Corinthians 9:8.
  3. God invites all of US to join His Work in the World: Jesus said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” – Matthew 9:37-38

In gratitude for God’s rich generosity and calling, our faith compels us to respond in these ways:

  • Adoration and Praise – The Psalmist wrote, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!” – Psalm 100.
  • Faithful Service – The Apostle Paul wrote, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ” – Colossians 3:23-24.
  • Joyful Giving – The Apostle Paul wrote, “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” – 2 Corinthians 9:7.

Stewardship is not only about financially supporting the church and clergy it is about using our time, talents, and treasures to God for the strengthening of the body of Christ (ministry) and sharing God’s love with the world (outreach evangelism). Will you prayerfully consider how God is calling us to support the ministry and mission of our church in 2026?

Stewardship Celebration Sunday – November 23 at 10:30 AM

Hopefully, by now, you are fully aware that we will celebrate Stewardship Sunday on November 23, at 10:30 AM. During the service, we will consecrate our 2026 Estimate of Giving Cards, dedicating our commitments to God’s work in the coming year.

Stewardship Materials

The Church mailed two stewardship letters to every member and active family in the congregation (download below). These letters shared valuable information about being a Faithful Steward of God’s Grace and an active supporter of God’s work through the Church. Below you will find downloadable resources to help you participate in this year’s campaign:

2026 Estimate of Giving Card

Use this card to prayerfully answer this important spiritual question: “What percentage of my time, talents and treasures is God inviting me to give through my local church? Record your 2026 financial commitment to support the ministry and mission of West Side Baptist Church on the 2026 Estimate of Giving Card (Download PDF):

Please bring your completed card to worship on November 23, or mail it to the Church Office at your convenience.

Why Stewardship Matters

God calls us to be faithful stewards – loyal, trustworthy caretakers of God’s riches. God invites us to use the gifts He has entrusted to us joyfully.

Through your generosity:

  • The Gospel is shared in word and action.
  • Children and Families grow in faith.
  • Mission partners receive life-changing support.
  • Our neighborhood is strengthened through compassion and service.
  • Worship flourishes
  • God is praised!

Every gift makes a difference. Every act of giving reflects God’s grace working in and through us.
