The Resurrection of Gavin Stone is our final movie of the summer’s Sunday Cinema. It is an inspirational comedy about faith, forgiveness and second chances. Gavin Stone (Brett Dalton) was a child star whose hard-partying ways got him into legal trouble. He must do 200 hours of community service at a church in his hometown. Gavin pretends to be a Christian to land the part of Jesus in the church’s annual Passion Play and discovers that the most important role of his life is far from Hollywood.
